This statement of studio policy is intended to clarify the responsibilities of both teacher and student/parent.

Discounts of 10% are given to families with 2 or more students, and senior citizens. Barter proposals are welcome. Please check the barter page for currently desirable exchanges.
Payment Procedures
Monthly and quarterly payments are made at the first lesson, and are due by the first lesson of the month or quarter thereafter. I accept cash, Paypal and Venmo.
Books and Other Materials
These are not included in the price of tuition. The student needs to bring a 1″ 3- ring binder, college ruled
filler paper and manuscript paper and a sharpened pencil with eraser to every class. Lesson books will either be acquired by me, to be paid for by the student or parent, or I will tell the student where to acquire them. For beginning students, the lesson books come to about $20. It is important to bring all these materials to every lesson.
Cancellations and Missed Lessons
Cancellations need to be made at least one day in advance. That being said, if the student comes down
with a potentially contagious illness the day of the lesson, or is injured, please stay home. One make-up
lesson per calendar month is provided for both of these cases. There are no refunds for lessons. You will
be charged for missed lessons (no-shows, cancellations with insufficient notice barring illness and injury)
and no make-up lesson will be given.
Referrals
Word of mouth is the best advertising, so your referrals are greatly appreciated! You will receive 1 free
lesson for each person referred who signs up for a month of lessons.
